CALS International Programs and Global One Health Academy (GOHA) are jointly organizing an international event that will host a group of experts from three East African countries – Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, and Uganda – to NC State to forge partnerships that will foster sustainable agricultural development and improve health and wellbeing in rural East African communities. This event will include participation of 16 invited individuals from different institutions in these three countries, including experts from a variety of professional and disciplinary backgrounds spanning research, administration, and policy. These experts will engage with faculty, students, and administrators from across disciplines at NC State, to strategize approaches that will holistically address rural development in East Africa.
Join us to learn more about the current NC State initiatives taking place in the region and hear from experts on the field about future areas of collaboration.
Registration is required to attend the event and the deadline to register is September 04 , 2023.
