CALS Responds: Hurricane Helene Support

Get Assistance and Learn How You Can Help

When Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina in September 2024, CALS responded. The storm caused widespread damage, and many communities and businesses in Western NC are still struggling. The recovery is expected to take years. This webpage provides resources and updates for CALS employees across the state, and highlights ways we can continue to support our colleagues, Extension offices, research stations, and the communities we serve.
