Authentic Influence
- This event has passed.
Event Navigation
Description
In a collaborative workplace, traditional influence techniques ultimately backfire. If someone recognizes they are being pushed or manipulated, their guard goes up. Even if the person you are pitching to complies with your requests, distrust and lingering resentment may undermine your working relationship.
Authentic influence, in contrast, is based on a commitment to deep listening, genuine engagement, and the pursuit of win-win outcomes. Participants will learn how to use a four-step collaborative influence process that can help strengthen and sustain professional relationships long after an agreement has been reached. Discover how being straight with everyone results in winning for all!
