CALS Faculty Plant Seeds for Student Opportunity and Innovation

William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor Todd Wehner and his wife, Delmarie, have decided to include a gift to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in their estate plans to establish a fellowship endowment to benefit graduate students enrolled in the Department of Horticultural Science. The Dr. Todd C. Wehner and Delmarie Wehner R.T. (R) (M) Horticulture Fellowship Endowment will be the result.

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ 2020 and 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award winners were honored Sept. 18 during a ceremony at NC State’s Close-King Indoor Practice Facility. The CALS Alumni and Friends Society also presented Outstanding Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni awards, which recognize excellence and the achievements of former students in their careers and communities.
