For the second year in a row, NC State’s online Master of Nutrition program ranked No. 1 on a list of the country’s top programs by BestColleges.com.

The non-thesis degree program, offered by the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences, focuses on applied study and field experience. Students gain a broad overview of graduate-level nutrition science — in either human nutrition or animal feed science — as well as the management and communication skills needed in a professional setting.

According to BestColleges.com, the rankings are based on “the courses schools offer, available specializations, student outcomes, career support services and other criteria used to determine academic excellence.”
