NC State Announces 2021-22 Goodnight Early Career Innovators
NC State announced its 2021-22 class of Goodnight Early Career Innovators today. This program recognizes and rewards promising NC State early-career faculty whose scholarship is in STEM or STEM education. The 25 faculty selected will receive $22,000 for each of the next three years to support their scholarship and research endeavors.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean Richard Linton to Step Down
Dean Richard Linton will step down from his position at NC State this month to become the president of Kansas State. Linton joined NC State as the dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2012 and has grown the college to 294 faculty in 12 different departments, more than 2,700 undergraduate students and more than 1,000 graduate students during his tenure.
2021-22 University Faculty Scholars Named
NC State’s 2021-22 class of University Faculty Scholars was announced today. These 23 early- and mid-career faculty receive this designation in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and contributions to NC State through their teaching, scholarship and service to the university and beyond.
