It’s (Almost) Tailgate Time!
Join us for CALS Tailgate — the college’s largest alumni event — before the Wolfpack takes on Georgia State on Saturday, Sept. 8.
In a family-friendly atmosphere, CALS Tailgate highlights the people, programs and partners that make the college great. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at the PNC Arena in Raleigh.
This year’s Tailgate includes college exhibits, visits from Mr. and Mrs. Wuf and the pep band. The first 100 guests to arrive at Tailgate will receive an exclusive gift. New at Tailgate this year are themed food tents where you can build your own barbecue slider and make your own Howling Cow ice cream sundae! We are also excited to have the Wolfpack Club sponsoring the all-new Kidzone, filled with fun games and activities.
Limited-edition CALS T-shirts featuring a unique design that celebrates the college will be available for purchase at Tailgate. Proceeds from sales of the T-shirts, which were produced in North Carolina with cotton grown by North Carolina farmers, will benefit the CALS Alumni & Friends Society Scholarship.
The 2018 CALS Tailgate will be held in conjunction with the 6th Annual Ag Day. Ag Day, a game-day theme set by NC State Athletics Marketing in partnership with Wolfpack Sports Properties and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, is an important opportunity to promote the connection between NC State and the agriculture, agribusiness and biotech industries in North Carolina in front of thousands of fans at Carter-Finley Stadium.
