NC State University will host the 2026 AI in Agriculture Conference March 31 – April 2.
This national conference brings together the brightest minds in academia, ag-tech, analytics, biotech, extension and the public sector to connect, collaborate and shape the future of AI-enabled agriculture.
This year’s focus — Advancing Artificial Intelligence and Data-Driven Innovations for Resilient and Competitive Agricultural Systems — emphasizes how integrative, AI-enabled solutions can enhance productivity, profitability and environmental stewardship across crop, livestock and supply-chain domains.
To date, the conference will welcome participants representing 60+ U.S. universities and 18 industry, government and stakeholder organizations.
“I am excited to see the national momentum around this conference,” says Daniela Jones, co-lead of the conference and director of agricultural analytics for NC State’s Data Science and AI Academy. “Bringing national expertise to this conference gives North Carolina farmers, Extension agents, researchers and ag technology companies direct exposure to new ideas and possibilities around AI.”
