Turfgrass short course set

NC State University will hold its annual one-week Turfgrass Short Course — appropriate for anyone interested in turf, including homeowners, career changers and professionals needing a refresher – Feb. 15-19, 2016, in Cary.

Presented by the university’s award-winning turfgrass program, the practical, hands-on course will cover best management practices for cool- and warm-season grasses, nutrient management, soils and irrigation, fertilizer and pesticide calculations, insect and disease management, mowing, aerification, other cultural practices and more.
