New faculty member

What we Think and Do cultivates change agents who confront grand challenges with innovative solutions.

To better prepare our students and serve our clients, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is in the process of hiring 17 strategic faculty positions and 4 department heads. The determination of these strategic positions was completed with input from each of our four college systems and recommendations from CALS Associate Deans.

“With the unprecedented new funding from NC State University’s provost, these strategic new faculty positions will forge important pathways forward to enhance our research, teaching, Extension and international impacts,” said Dean, Richard Linton. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our college, and I look forward to working with faculty, staff and our stakeholders to recruit the very best faculty to CALS.”
