Employee Wellness Day Opportunities

The NC State Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will offer faculty and staff an opportunity to participate in two wellness-related courses on Feb. 16, which NC State has designated as a wellness day.

Wellness days are opportunities for the NC State community to pause, reflect, reset and participate in wellness-related activities.

The FASAP wellness courses are free, approximately 45 to 60 minutes long and will take place virtually. Registration is required. You can register for one or both of the courses.

The names of the courses and registration links for each course are listed below. Detailed course descriptions are available on the registration pages. Registration is limited, so please sign up for these valuable learning opportunities as soon as you can.

Mindfulness: Being Present in Your Work and Life 10 a.m. This training discusses mindfulness and how to incorporate its practice into your life. Register
Laughter, Humor and Play To Reduce Stress and Solve Problems 2 p.m. Participants will learn how to use smiling, laughter, humor and play as part of their daily routine and how doing each one can be beneficial. Register
ComPsych, the provider of FASAP, will present the two wellness day courses. FASAP is a free and confidential service that provides support and resources related to wellness, financial and legal challenges and much more.
