Two Internal CALS Research Opportunities – Equipment Grant and Innovation Fund Grant

Requests for proposals have now been posted for two internal competitions.

First Grant

The CALS Research Committee Equipment Grant program has been funded for 2018-19 for requests between $5,000 and $30,000. This program prioritizes shared research instruments and equipment. It is expected that 5-10 awards will be made. Deadline for submission is Nov. 30, 2018.

Second Grant

The NCALS Research Foundation Innovation Fund Grant Program has been funded at $50,000 for one or more awards over a period not to exceed 2 years. Awards from this program support entrepreneurial research projects in new, high impact, interdisciplinary research areas in which a short term investment by the Foundation will have a high probability of leading to larger funding opportunities. Deadline for submission is Friday, Feb. 8, 2019.

RFPs can be viewed and proposals submitted through InfoReady Review, NC State’s internal grant management software.
