March is Faculty and Staff Giving Month

As members of NC State and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, we understand the importance of giving back and supporting the institution that prepares students, pursues research and extends knowledge into our state and beyond. That’s why we encourage you to participate in Faculty and Staff Giving Month. This March, consider making a difference in the lives of our students and the greater community.

So why give? There are countless reasons why giving back to NC State and CALS is important, but here are just a few:

Supporting student scholarships: Many of our students face financial challenges that can make it difficult to pursue higher education. By giving, you help provide scholarships and financial aid to those who need it most. Your gift could be the difference between a student dropping out and one graduating with a degree that will set them on the path to success.

Advancing research: With 12 academic programs and NC State Extension, the research from CALS is far-reaching. Your gift helps fund research initiatives, equipment and facilities that enables our faculty and students to make breakthrough discoveries and innovations.

Paying it forward: As faculty and staff in CALS, we have all benefited from the education and opportunities this institution has provided. Giving back is a way to pay it forward and ensure that future generations can continue to benefit from the same high-quality education and supportive community that we have enjoyed.

Your generosity makes a difference any time of year, and this is a great time to maximize Day of Giving leaderboard bonuses, and gifts made March 1-22 will count toward Day of Giving totals.

Making a gift is easy. You can:

No matter your reason for giving, every donation makes a difference. Even a small gift can have a big impact on the lives of our students, faculty, staff and the success of our university.
