What’s New?

The daily travel subsistence rates has increased for in-state, out-of-state and out-of-country travel. New rates may be found on the 3D memo released from the University Controller’s Office.

How do the new rates impact travelers?

Travelers will now be reimbursed in accordance with the new rates that have been published.

The university controller’s office will adjust travel reimbursements to include the difference in allowance for any travel that is on or after the effective date and has already been submitted.

Travelers should continue to submit travel reimbursements and claim allowances as normal, no additional calculation will be required. The new travel subsistence rates will automatically reflect in the travel center.

Travel approval requirements for meals and lodging remain the same. Same day meals require prior approval. Lodging in excess of the allowance requires prior approval.
