How You Can Contribute to the CALS Strategic Plan

CALS is launching an employee-directed strategic planning process to chart the course for CALS through the year 2030.

In spring 2021 an employee-led faculty and staff strategic planning committee was created. Over the past few months, they have been working diligently to identify potential focus areas for our college in the coming years. They have also spent a great deal of time planning engagement opportunities for all employees to contribute to the planning process.

We want to hear from you.

With your involvement in this process, CALS aims to be the best land-grant in the country and the best place to learn and work for everyone.

On August 23, all CALS team members – faculty, staff, on-campus and off-campus – will receive an email with a survey link that offers you an opportunity to share feedback on a variety issues such as:

– Campus and workplace culture

– Research programs that support North Carolinians

– Creating an exceptional college that attracts the students and prepares them for careers

– Inspiring external stakeholders, so they are confident CALS addresses their needs and ensures their success

You will receive a randomly selected survey segment – one of eight total segments that should take about ten minutes to complete. Once you have completed your segment, there will be an opportunity to complete other segments of interest. You may also  complete the entire survey.

Thanks in advance for letting your voice be heard and please complete your survey by  September 10, 2021.
