Hinshaw Selected As World Aquaculture Society Fellow

Congratulations to NC State Applied Ecology Professor and Extension Specialist Jeff Hinshaw, a world-leading trout expert who was recently selected as the 2019 World Aquaculture Society Fellow.

The designation recognizes achievement in the field of aquaculture and to the society. With more than 3,000 members in about 100 countries, the organization works to enhance knowledge and networking among the world’s aquaculture community. Hinshaw was honored in March at the society’s annual conference in New Orleans.

Hinshaw, who is stationed at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River, has been a faculty member at NC State since October 1985.
