Thinking about starting a social media page? Make sure you do this first:
- You don’t need to be on every single social media platform. Ask yourself what type of audience you’re trying to reach, why and what platform that audience is likely to be on.
- Know your bandwidth. Ask yourself if you’re able to keep up a regular stream of posts.
- Have a content calendar and strategy in place so you know what types of content you plan to post and when.
- Have at least two administrators who can actively manage your accounts.
