Celebrating Dr. Flowers’ Retirement

After more than 40 years of service in agricultural education, and 30 plus years at NC State, Dr. Jim Flowers is retiring. To honor his many contributions to the field of agricultural education, the impact he has had on students, faculty, and his teachers, his agricultural and extension education peers have planned a wonderful retirement celebration – and you are invited.

Please make plans to join us for a fantastic celebratory meal and evening of fellowship June 28th. The meal will be catered by the Hook & Cleaver Market of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and tickets can be purchased below.

As a part of the celebration of his career, we would like to present Dr. Flowers with a book of letters from his friends and colleagues from around the country. These remembrances of Jim’s work, fun times and memorable experiences with colleagues in agricultural education will be very important to him as he reflects on his career in future years.
