Bird-Window Collision Monitoring Projects

Millions of birds are killed yearly due to window collisions in the U.S. City Bird is conducting another bird-window collision monitoring survey at six buildings and three bus shelters on campus this fall migration season (Sept. 21 – Oct. 20) and needs your help.
Please sign up if you are willing to spend a few minutes walking the perimeter of targeted buildings during that period. Participants will take photos of any dead or injured birds they come across and fill out a form (tutorial video of monitoring protocol). You don’t need to be an expert in bird identification to participate!
Together, we can help quantify the magnitude of the window collision problem on campus!
