The Shadowing program will focus on providing AAMC-compliant physician shadowing in an international setting. Students will be afforded the opportunity to experience global healthcare with a group of other pre-health students, shadowing doctors in a different specialty each week. The shadowing program will begin immediately at the conclusion of the Biotechnology Poland Study Abroad Program, which is an additional program that will provide a rich cultural experience within Poland (Poznan, Krakow, Warsaw). The shadowing program will be hosted in Torun, which dates to medieval times, is the home town of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, and is a picturesqe historic European city set on the Vistula river.
