  • Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist, Soil Management, North Carolina State University 2022-Present.
  • Post-doctoral Research Associate, Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center – W. K. Kellogg Biological Station and Department of Plant, Soil, and Microbial Sciences, Michigan State University, 2020-2022

 

Research and Extension Interests

  • Provide training and leadership to county agents in the Coastal Plain region of North Carolina.
  • Develop extension and research programs related to climate smart soil management strategies.
  • Tillage strategies for corn, soybean, and wheat for the Blacklands.
  • Working on issues and strategies related to soil health, carbon sequestration, and saltwater intrusion.
  • Regenerative agriculture practices for higher yield return and optimum soil health.
  • Soil management trainings.
