Chancellor Randy Woodson served as guest lecturer for STS 323: World Population and Food Prospects (Global Sustainable Human Development), sharing information from the Challenge of Change. Chancellor Woodson chaired the Challenge of Change Commission, which met in 2017 to identify the challenges public universities are best poised to address, the Grand Challenge being “to sustainably feed an expanding population and improve prospects for food and nutrition security for all.” Afterwards Chancellor Woodson answered a variety of questions from students. The roster of 200 students in this interdisciplinary course taught by Bob Patterson represents all ten colleges of the university.
