Devoted CALS Philanthropist William Prestage Passes Away
William “Bill” Prestage, the patriarch and founder of Prestage Farms, passed away on Oct. 10. Not only was he a pioneer in the turkey and swine processing industry, he was a dear friend and devout philanthropist to the Prestage Department of Poultry Science and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
