On Sept. 26-28, 2022, a diverse group of scientists and leaders will gather to exchange ideas and solutions to the primary concerns of animal agriculture at the second annual Food Animal Innovation Summit at the StateView Hotel in the heart of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Organized and sponsored by the Animal Health and Nutrition Consortium (AHNC), in collaboration with the Carolina Feed Industry Association (CFIA), the NC Biotechnology Center and NC State University’s Food Animal Initiative (FAI), the three-day event will feature a full slate of activities and be a hybrid format, with available virtual attendance options (Zoom/YouTube).
The summit is a combination of three conferences across three days:
- Food Animal Industry Symposium on Communication (FAI): Gain a better understanding of effective messaging and communication about the food animal industry.
- Animal Nutrition Symposium (CFIA): Hear updates on industry regulatory and commodity markets and innovations in the animal feed industry.
- Animal Health and Nutrition and Precision Animal Systems Symposia (AHNC): Learn about cutting-edge research in gut health, food safety, and microbiome.

Registration is $500 for all three events, with tiered options available to attend the events of your choice and special rates for NC State faculty staff and students. Discounts are available for students and farmers/producers; email fai-animal-symposium@ncsu.edu for details.
