Extension and CALS colleagues,
N.C. Agriculture Awareness Day is fast approaching. This is a great opportunity to educate our state’s lawmakers about the importance of N.C. agriculture and how we can grow stronger together.
The event will take place on March 20, 2019, at the Bicentennial Mall and Legislative Complex in downtown Raleigh. We need your help in getting the word out to our producers and commodity groups.
Extension has been a central figure throughout our state’s rich agricultural history, and we will play an even larger role in its future growth and success. In addition to educating elected representatives about agriculture, N.C. Ag Awareness Day is an opportunity for commodities, farmers, agribusinesses, universities and ag students to provide a unified voice of the importance of North Carolina’s top industry.
Now more than ever, we need to cultivate and strengthen our partnerships. I encourage you to help spread the word and invite others to join us, please visit http://go.ncsu.edu/NCAgDay2019 for more details and resources to help promote this important occasion.
