Next week you will receive an invitation to complete our CALS Compass 2030 survey. This survey was drafted by your peers on the Strategic Planning Committee and will be a critical piece of the strategic planning process.
The committee has worked to identify thematic areas for the plan’s consideration, and they want to give all members of the CALS Community – staff, faculty, and students – an opportunity to help shape the plan.
This strategic planning approach is different from the previous process; this is intentionally employee-driven by, and focused on, the ideas and input from our internal stakeholders.
We want to hear from you.
On August 23rd, you will receive an email with a link to the CALS Compass 2030 Survey. Please take some time to share your perspectives on what we must do (or not do) in order for CALS to become the best place to learn and work for everyone. This survey was designed by our committee to better understand what is important to you!
“Everyone within our College has an important role, and their perspectives need to be valued in order to make our college function at its best,” said director of college leadership programs and strategic planning committee member Dr. Rhonda Sutton.“We all have something to contribute when it comes to CALS being successful, and it is imperative that each person realizes that their work supports and furthers the mission of our college and each other.”
Your feedback will be essential as we embark on our planning process over the next several months. After we have collected survey data, we will engage the expertise of a strategic planning consultant. We expect there will be additional opportunities to share your thoughts and input over the course of this process.
