Annie Hardison-Moody, an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences (AHS), will serve as the interim assistant leader for the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Program, while the current program leader, Sarah Kirby, serves as co-interim director of NC State Extension over the next year.

Hardison-Moody’s extensive experience and leadership within AHS and the FCS community make her an excellent fit to support the growing demands of day-to-day FCS program operations. She will take on key responsibilities such as new agent orientation, assisting with agent hiring, and supporting professional development, ensuring program continuity and success. Her ability to represent the FCS program at meetings and events will further enhance the program’s visibility and impact statewide.

Kirby will work closely with Hardison-Moody in her new role.
