Over the past several years CALS has refined our online tool for Annual Activity Reporting (AAR) as well as the process for identifying employees required to submit activity data. NC State requires all faculty members to submit an annual activity report outlining professional activities and achievements as part of the annual review process.

In addition, CALS uses annual activity reports for faculty and EHRA non-faculty to share the impact of CALS activities with stakeholders and justify continued funding. Department heads may use the AAR to assist with completing EHRA non-faculty performance reviews. The information is used for resource allocation decision-making. The system is now available for you to enter 2023 activities. All Annual Activity Reports are due Feb. 1, 2024.
