A CALS employee was recently hospitalized after an accident involving a Telehandler Personnel Lift. Upon receiving notification of the accident, the North Carolina Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Division requested CALS to conduct an investigation of the accident and provide a written response that contained a detailed explanation of:
- Why did the accident happy (what are the investigation findings)?
- What corrective actions have been put in place to prevent additional occurrences?
As part of this response, CALS was asked to post both the formal request for investigation from NCDOL and our response.
