It’s that time of year again when you will be receiving new copies of the N.C. Agricultural Chemicals Manual as well as Pest Control for Professional Turfgrass Managers. We want to go over a few details regarding the delivery process and timeline for these materials, which remains the same as last year.

We have again partnered with UNC Press to offer the 2020 North Carolina Agricultural Chemicals Manual. County centers do NOT need to take any action to receive their complimentary copies of the manual, which will begin shipping in January (some centers may receive their manuals as early as this week).

As in prior years, each county center has been allocated a number of manuals based on local agent staffing. However, if an office receives insufficient manuals due to local staffing changes or other needs, additional copies can be purchased directly from UNC Press.

2020 Pest Control for Professional Turfgrass Managers

The manual is now available online and can be accessed here: 2020 Pest Control for Professional Turfgrass Managers.

Extension county centers will receive up to 50 complimentary copies of the manual based on submitted requests. These copies will be shipped directly to county centers.

Offices can purchase more copies to keep on hand or distribute at events but will need to cover the costs locally (you could consider building the cost into event registration fees, for example). Visit Order Extension Publications for more info and order details.
