CALS Community Conversations: Voting Rights and Voting Wrongs

Looking out the window at people in line to vote.

Dr. Katherine Charron will lead the next CALS Community Conversation, “Voting Rights and Voting Wrongs,” a discussion about the burden placed on marginalized communities to be actively involved in the election process.

In this third session of our four-part discussion series, we’ll discuss how marginalized communities have been excluded and included in the electoral process, and how these historical realities shape modern elections.

The aim of all the CALS Community Conversation series is to provide a safe-to-be-brave discussion space that will make it clear to all groups of every social identity within CALS that diversity and inclusion are among our college’s most cherished and passionately guarded values.

Date: Tuesday, March 30
Time: 10 – 11:30 a.m.
