CIPM Director Candidate Seminars

Grain silos rise up behind soybean fields on a farm in Pasquotank County.

Three candidates for the Center for Integrated Pest Management (CIPM) director position will present their vision for the center in the coming weeks.

The CIPM is an interdisciplinary facility within CALS that focuses on developing and promoting innovative integrated pest management strategies. The CIPM director will lead the center in addressing the grand challenges related to invasive species and integrated pest management systems. The director is expected to develop excellent relationships within the USDA, other federal and international agencies, commodity organizations, private industry and academic collaborators.

Each candidate will have 45 minutes to present their background and vision and future direction for the CIPM, followed by 30 minutes for questions from the audience – via the Zoom chat function. The Zoom link for each seminar is: https://go.ncsu.edu/cipm-director
