NC State is playing UConn in our first football game on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. Since this is a matchup between two prominent and premier land-grant institutions, I have challenged the dean of the UConn College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources and my good friend, Indrajeet Chaubey, to a friendly wager.

If NC State Athletics wins, Dr. Chaubey will wear a red shirt all day on Friday, Sept. 1. If the University of Connecticut wins, I will wear a navy blue shirt all day that Friday. The losing team’s dean must post at least two pictures on LinkedIn proving that we are paying up on the bet.

Here is where you can help! Each dean is posting about the challenge on LinkedIn from our accounts. Whoever’s post gets more “Likes” by kickoff on Aug. 31 gets three bonus points added to their game score.
