The updated CALS Business Operations website is now live! You can access the website at www.go.ncsu.edu/cbo or https://cals.ncsu.edu/intranet/cals-business-operations/. The old website at https://harvest.cals.ncsu.edu/business-operations/ will remain up until April 1, at which time visitors will be redirected from the old url to the new site. You are encouraged to go ahead and start using and becoming familiar with the new website.
What’s New?
In addition to a new layout and a look and feel that is more streamlined with the NCSU and CALS brand, a few other notable changes have been made:
- Users must now log in to view the CBO website
The CBO website is now part of the CALS intranet, which means users will be prompted to enter their unity id to access the site. Making this change allows CALS to house all administrative resources under one website.
- Main navigation menu has changed
Because the CBO website is housed under the CALS Intranet, users will notice that the top-page navigation menu now lists other CALS’ administrative resources, such as CALS Personnel. To access other CBO resources, such as documents and forms or contact information, simply scroll down the page.
- CBO calendar added
A CBO calendar has been added to keep customers updated with important dates and deadlines.
Coming Soon!
The new site still has all of CBO’s most frequently accessed resources and tools such as the Documents & Forms page, ServiceNow, SOPs, and Business Partners webpage. However, users may notice a few “coming soon” pages on the website. The updated site is a work-in-progress and will continue to be revised and added to over the coming months.
