Bio

Associate Dean and Director of Academic Programs David Crouse is an Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at North Carolina State University.

With over 25 years of faculty experience and interfacing between agriculture and the environment, Crouse brings a wealth of knowledge and devotion to his roles. He provides strategic leadership and vision for academic programming, collaborating closely with Academic Programs staff, faculty members, departmental leadership and academic personnel. His primary focus is to ensure student access to exceptional educational opportunities offered through CALS, upholding the university’s land-grant mission.

Crouse is passionate about teaching and enjoyed his years in the classrooms and teaching laboratories at NC State.
