Research and extension programs cover all areas of agronomic production and management of flue-cured and burley tobacco including Official Variety Testing, transplant production, weed control, sucker control, pesticide residue evaluation and fertilization. Dr Fisher teaches CS 162 Flue-Cured Tobacco Production.
