Grain Market & Crop Budget Webinar Recording and Resources

Farmer out standing in his soybean field.

Professor Nick Piggott and Derek Washburn, NC State Farm School, provided an agent training on the 2022 crop comparison tool, which allows the user to see how input levels affect profitability across several different crops. These tools will be particularly relevant for the 2022 crop year given the escalation in input prices and the cost-price squeeze (rising input prices and lower output prices) farmers are experiencing for corn, soybeans, and wheat as they look toward planting decisions for 2022.
