Jonathan Phillips

Joining NCSU in 1999, Jonathan Phillips, began as a lecture for Agribusiness courses in the Agricultural Institute.  A few years later he began teaching a mix of undergraduate and institute courses.  His main areas of instruction are introductory economics, human resources, and finance.  Over the years Jonathan has served as a faculty adviser to the Agricultural Institute club, Agrilife council, Ducks Unlimited, Farm House fraternity, and founded the bass fishing team at NCSU.  Jonathan’s core interest is on student success at the University and after graduation.  He is married to Jennifer Phillips and they have two daughters.  Jonathan and his family enjoy fishing, hunting, riding dirt-bikes, and traveling in the U.S.
