Fall 2026 Seminar #2: NC State CVM Community Access Program
Join Ms. Kasey Henry from NC State CVM’s Community Access Program to learn about her career journey, current role, and the impact of community medicine in expanding access to veterinary care. Ms. Henry will introduce the Community Access Program, discuss hands-on opportunities available to pre-veterinary students, and share application expectations for students interested in getting involved. She will also offer advice for students interested in community medicine and making veterinary care more accessible to diverse communities. Following the presentation, Ms. Henry and program student volunteers will host a meet-and-greet with attendees, providing an opportunity to ask questions, connect with peers, and learn more about getting involved while enjoying snacks and refreshments.
