Position Description:
Research and teaching in new sensor and control technology with application of this technology to increase yield, reduce inputs and better control environmental impact. Assist with sensor development and data management to help growers better control, manage and maximize the value of data collected. Work with multiple vehicle platforms (tractors, harvesters, UAV). Expand adoption of precision agriculture.
