Kathryn Boys
Bio
Kathryn Boys is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. She earned her PhD from Purdue University, and completed earlier studies at the University of Guelph (Canada), and has previously held faculty positions at Clemson University and Virginia Tech. Kathryn conducts research on international trade, food supply chains, local food systems, and food safety issues. Her work has appeared in various journals including the flagship journals of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association, the major professional association of her profession. Her research has been funded by the National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA), USDA ERS, USDA AMS, and other funding agencies.
