Brittany Whitmire
Bio
Biographical Information
Brittany joined the ARE Department in the spring of 2015 as a Dairy Extension Associate. She coordinated the NC Value-Added Cost Share Program from 2009-2017. Previously, Brittany served as an Extension Associate at NC A&T State University managing a grant-funded program focused on business planning and entrepreneurship. Brittany and her husband, Andy VonCanon, manage a small cow-calf operation in western NC on land that has been in Brittany’s family since 1867.
