Landowner Liability Seminar: Andrew Branan

The North Carolina Tree Farm Association – in collaboration with NC State Forestry Department – is hosting a lunch and learn seminar at 1pm on Wednesday, August 31 on landowner liability. Robert Andrew Branan, assistant extension professor, will present the legal status and updates on North Carolina common law regarding landowner liability for injuries to trespassers and others. He will also cover other issues such as boundary marking, hunting permissions, easements and gating, and timber theft laws. Click here for registration.
