Event Navigation

Dr. Mzyk is a current associate mixed-animal veterinarian at Janesville Animal Medical Center. She hails from North Carolina where she attended North Carolina State University. While at NC State, she completed a Ph.D. in comparative biomedical sciences with an emphasis on farm animal pharmacology while finishing her DVM degree. She has served as a national responder for the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank (FARAD). Her professional interests include preventative health, clinical pharmacology and perinatal health of all species. Prior to joining JAMC, Dr. Mzyk practiced in a mixed animal practice in rural Pennsylvania and is involved with missionary work serving with the Christian veterinary mission. Dr. Mzyk is an avid half-marathon runner and enjoys hiking, camping and outdoor adventures. She shares her life with her husband Philip (also a VetPAC graduate!), a goofball shepherd mix named Finley and a wanna-be-farm-cat Artoo.

The Virtual Fall Seminar Series will be held via Zoom. Links to each virtual Fall Seminar will be sent via the VetPAC Listserv two days prior to the event, and on the morning of each seminar. Students can register for the VetPAC Listserv here. Anyone interested in veterinary medicine is welcome and encouraged to attend.
