Dr. Kimberly Chappell received her DVM degree at NC State University. She practiced small animal clinical medicine for a few years before joining the animal health industry, where she served 10 years in pharmaceutical product research and development with Intervet. Later, she joined the faculty at NC State, where she directed the Clinical Studies Core, a service unit to support clinical research at the College of Veterinary Medicine. After 4 years, Dr. Chappell rejoined industry with Elanco Animal Health, supporting clinical trials and effectiveness studies for new product research and development. Four years ago she transitioned to her current role, as a Regional Consulting Veterinarian in US Pet Health. In this role she provides medical and technical consultation for Elanco’s companion animal veterinary customers and sales team members.
