Two Awarded at Entomological Society of America Southeastern Branch Meeting

Congratulations to Meredith Spence and Damon D’Ambrosio, who both received awards at the Entomological Society of America Southeastern Branch Meeting held March 12th – 15th in Memphis, Tennessee.

Spence took first place for Outstanding PhD Oral Presentation for her research titled “Examining the consequences of land use on vector diversity.”

D’Ambrosio received first place for Outstanding PhD Display for his poster titled “Characterizing the effects of two neonicotinoid cotton seed treatments on tobacco thrips (Frankliniella fusca) feeding behavior with electrical penetration graphing.”
