Agribusiness Entrepreneurship students practiced pitching their business ideas in front of their peers as well as members of the ag. community on April 23rd, 2018. Student groups have been developing projects over the course of their Ag. Entrepreneurship class cycle. Potential ventures include creating compost from waste sweet potatoes and harvesting oysters on the North Carolina coast, among others.
Mock pitches are a great way for students to practice skills they will need when they enter the business world as entrepreneurs.
