Treme Receives CALS Nomination for Award for Excellence in Teaching
Associate Teaching Professor Julianne Treme was honored by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a nomination for the Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Established in 2021, the award is the most prestigious award for exceptional teaching given to professional full-time faculty within NC State’s 10 colleges and the University College.
To be considered for the award, the nominee must be a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award, which Treme received in 2019. She also received the Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor Award last year, demonstrating her continued commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentorship at NC State.
Treme’s nomination reflects her passion for education and her positive impact on students in our undergraduate programs. Her commitment to excellence serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and the university community. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved nomination and greatly appreciate her exceptional contributions to teaching and learning in our department.
Congratulations, Julianne!
