Julianne Treme Receives Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor Award

Associate Teaching Professor Julianne Treme has been honored with the Alumni Distinguished Undergraduate Professor Award for the 2022-23 academic year. This prestigious award is presented annually to recognize exceptional teaching and mentorship of undergraduate students.

Sponsored by the NC State Alumni Association and coordinated by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Office for Faculty Excellence, this award is one of the highest honors for undergraduate teaching at NC State. Treme will hold this distinction for the duration of her faculty appointment at NC State.

In receiving this award, Treme joins a distinguished group of faculty members who have been recognized for their commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship at NC State. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor and are grateful for the impact she has had on our student’s lives and academic careers.
