Tax Schools Provide Clarity After Tax Law Changes
Through the Office of Professional Development, ARE Extension Specialist Guido van der Hoeven is delivering two day workshops called “Intermediate and Advanced Income Tax Schools.” Guido will travel to 8 locations across North Carolina between November 26th and December 6th, 2018.
Professional tax practitioners, CPAs, attorneys, and county Extension agents are attending to learn about recent tax law changes, namely the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act which was passed in December 2017. These tax law changes affect the preparation of 2018 income tax returns to be filed in 2019. See Guido’s presentation slides.
Upon completion of the training, participants receive a certificate of attendance for 16 hours of continuing education.
